OUR CLIENT SEEKS PEOPLE WITH ACTIVE SC OR DV CLEARANCE - This is due to the nature of their client's work. We are working alongside a successful and profitable IT company who, due to their continued success require Cabling Surveyors. As a Surveyor, you will be involved in conducting in-depth surveys and copper and fibre infrastructure designs for installations across critical networks within MOD and secure sites in the home counties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design & Surveying existing and new copper and fibre network infrastructures using design principles (they use CNIDP).
* Produce single-line diagrams and infrastructure layouts through collaboration
* Prepare documentation; patching schedules and detailed scopes of work
* Provide compliance and stakeholder engagement
* Ensure risks and assumptions are flagged up for projects and contribute to project delivery and commercial oversight.
Desirable but not essential:
* CNIDP, CNCI, or equivalent technical qualifications.
* Knowledge of MOD infrastructure standards (JSP604) and CIDA Design Course.
* Experience with ECR processes and working alongside SCIDAs.
* Qualifications such as BTEC Level 3 in Telecommunications, City & Guilds, SSSTS, or Streetworks.
