You’ll join a growing, forward‑thinking manufacturing group producing a wide variety of products in small to large batch volumes. With a diverse mix of processes including injection moulding, additive manufacturing, and manual assembly, no two days will feel the same.
The business is actively investing in process improvement and is looking for someone who can bring fresh eyes, challenge the way things are done, and drive both quick wins and longer‑term improvements across production.

You will be split across two South Wales manufacturing sites, with your main base of operations being in Brynmawr, and the secondary site being in Abergavenny.
The role:
Get hands‑on with manufacturing processes and equipment, identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement
Deliver immediate process improvements (“quick wins”) alongside structured, long‑term CI projects
Troubleshoot production, tooling, process and workflow issues in real time
Analyse production data to identify bottlenecks, waste and quality risks
Design and implement practical solutions, from tooling tweaks to process redesign
Develop and improve SOPs, work instructions and process documentation
Support new product introductions and process validations
Collaborate closely with production, engineering and leadership teams
Prioritise multiple concurrent projects in a fast‑moving environment
This is a role where you’ll be heard, trusted and encouraged to make decisions.
Experience/Skills
We’re looking for a hands‑on engineer first and foremost. Titles matter less than mindset.
Apprentice‑trained or degree‑qualified with practical experience/interest
From a varied manufacturing background, ideally with experience of a wide range of manufacturing processes, fresh perspectives are actively encouraged
Comfortable working in small‑batch, high‑mix environments
A confident problem solver who enjoys being on the shop floor
Someone who can spot an improvement opportunity and act on it immediately
Manufacturing or process engineering experience
Strong understanding of production systems and workflows
Practical tooling, jig or fixture modifications
Exposure to Lean / Continuous Improvement principles
Basic CAD, CNC or 3D printing exposure (advantageous, not essential)
Excellent communication and prioritisation skills
Lean / Six Sigma experience is welcome — but training will be provided if you don’t have it.
