Position: Health, Safety and Environment Manager (2 sites)
Location: Chesterfield
Salary: £55,000 - £59,000 per annum + 10% Bonus

The site:
* Covering two large sites with high-risk machinery and significant investment, producing products at a fast pace
* Existing strong systems, procedures, and policies
Main responsibilities:
* Manage all Health, Safety, and Environment requirements, providing proactive support, solutions, and advice across both sites
* Collaborate with General Managers to implement change, reporting to the Regional HSE Manager
* Promote a culture of accountability for HSE among all employees
* Develop, coach, and mentor staff to ensure understanding and compliance with HSE standards
* Liaise with stakeholders, group sites, insurers, and regulatory bodies
* Report and investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and property damage, fostering continuous safety improvements
* Monitor and report on HSE key performance indicators
* Prioritize machinery safety and guarding
* Assist senior leadership in developing and implementing the annual HSE plan

Essential background:
* Experience in high-risk, fast-paced manufacturing environments, such as food, paper, packaging, or beverage manufacturing, with machinery safety expertise
* Experience managing multiple sites or large facilities
