Moving imminently into a brand new purpose built department we are looking for an enthusiastic highly specialised physiologist to join us in providing outstanding care to the population of Somerset. You will work as a senior team member to provide all diagnostic and treatment services within Cardiac Physiology including but not limited to Echocardiography and being either a lead or supportive role in Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM). This flexible and dynamic role is an exciting opportunity for an individual who wants to maintain skills across multiple specialist areas.
Main duties of the job
Work as a senior team member and independent practitioner within echocardiography and desirable to be able to lead in CRM, a supportive role in CRM would also be strongly considered.

Job responsibilities
Working as a senior team member to provide all diagnostic and treatment services within Cardiac Physiology including but not limited to Echocardiography and being either a lead or supportive role in Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM). To work as an independent practitioner within echocardiography and desirable to be able to lead in CRM. Support all aspects of providing services such as training, procurement and development. Person Specification
Qualifications
* BSc degree in Clinical Physiology, Cardiology (or equivalent)
* BSE echocardiography accreditation
* Evidence of continued professional development
* Teaching and/or assessing qualification
* BHRS/IBHRE accreditation
Experience
* Caring for patients with Cardiac conditions
* Teaching and assessing in group and one-to-one settings
Additional Criteria
* Advanced cardiac clinical knowledge and skills
* Knowledge of the principles of clinical audit
* Latest research relating to Cardiology
