About HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS)
HMCTS administers criminal, civil and family courts in England and Wales. We support users and colleagues across the justice system.
Your Role
As an Admin Officer you will support court and tribunal users, progress cases and provide operational administrative support.
* Prepare papers and files for court, tribunals, hearings and meetings.
* Create and update records in the internal computer system.
* Result outcome accurately and record statistics.
* Check and verify documents, records, claims and returns against criteria.
* Collect and assemble information for reports and statistical analysis.
* Communicate with the public, judiciary and other court users.
Skills and Experience
We are looking for a friendly, detail-oriented individual with:
* Excellent written and verbal communication.
* Strong organisational and prioritising skills.
* Ability to multi-task in a busy environment.
* Experience using computer systems and software packages.
* Proactive customer service support via phone and email.
Working Arrangements
Full time: 37 hrs/week (minimum 30 hrs for part time). Hybrid working available – at least 60% of working time in the office.
