Our client, a specialist in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a GUI Software Engineer to join their team in Hampshire on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Designing and implementing efficient real-time systems
Understanding and applying new and emerging technologies
Developing new features for the Electronic Warfare suite of software
Contributing to diverse projects spanning domains such as Array Processing, Communications, and Sensors
Job Requirements:
Expertise in GUI and GUI Design
Proficiency in C# for user interface development and associated services
Competence in C++ for services and DSP
Experience with unit and system testing
Familiarity with modern DevOps practices, including version control and continuous integration
Desirable Skills:
Experience in developing UI for scientific or technical applications
Knowledge of WPF for user interfaces
Experience with SQL databases
Understanding of modern communication protocols, e.g. REST / Websockets
Knowledge of the latest Software Defined Radio (SDR) platforms
Awareness of electronic warfare principles
