Year 1 Teacher – Warrington
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-Time, Temporary (with potential to become permanent)
Salary: Pay-To-Scale, Dependant on experience
A primary school in the Warrington area with a positive and encouraging learning environment is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Year 1 Teacher to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils at the very start of their Key Stage 1 journey, helping them develop essential skills, confidence, and a love for learning in a warm and structured environment.
What we’re looking for:
* A candidate with QTS and relevant experience across Key Stage 1 (Year 1 experience highly desirable).
* A current enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one, which can be done through Teaching Personnel).
* Ability to create a safe, engaging, and supportive classroom that promotes both academic and emotional development.
* Strong understanding of the Year 1 curriculum, including phonics, early literacy, and numeracy.
* Excellent communication skills and a commitment to building positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
