What you’ll do:
As a Junior Product Owner, you’ll be a key member of the Digital Web and Apps team, working closely with key stakeholders, customers and technical teams to develop and deliver high quality deployments into production. You’ll be busy gathering, evaluating, and analysing business and user requirements, whilst building, maintaining, and configuring properly defined and detailed epics and user stories that follow product strategy and agile principles.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need to acquire a solid understanding of the capabilities provided by the product down-stream/dependent systems and then lead the design of simplified equivalent capabilities for any future system migration. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that we can maintain both the current services and engage all relevant teams to build future proof capabilities.
Working closely with the Lead Product manager, you’ll help with maintaining product backlogs and releases plans, whilst following a long-term vision for product evolution. They will be making product development status and progress visible to necessary stakeholders whilst managing project and product scope, schedule, dependencies, communication, and stakeholders.
Who you are:
Excellent stakeholder management across various divisions and seniority.
Previous working experience of project management or product owner experience within telco or tech.
Ability of identifying issues and creating solutions to overcome challenges.
Relevant in-depth knowledge of Agile and Sprint methodology.
Demonstrable analytical skills with rigorous attention to detail.
Excellent communicator who can adapt style to persuade stakeholders.
Strong track-record of leading cross-functional teams operationally.
Background in business analysis, business process re-engineering or business transformation would be advantageous.
