Responsibilities
As a Warehouse/Driver associate, you will perform duties to provide excellent service and support to our customers. Your tasks will include picking up and delivering orders, shipping and receiving materials, and maintaining stock areas and inventory. You will also use your strong customer service skills when interacting with customers at the Service Center and during deliveries.
The goal is to collaborate with our Service Center team to deliver first-class service, grow our business with existing and new customers, and meet or exceed sales targets while enhancing customer satisfaction.
* Receive and verify incoming materials, maintain stock areas, prepare sales orders, pick up and deliver orders, stock supplies, and verify merchandise accuracy.
* Work from schedules, work orders, and instructions.
* Operate motor trucks, hand and mobile lift equipment, tools, scales, and postage meters.
* Use company vehicle for pickups and deliveries, planning efficient routes.
* Assist with counter and phone sales, order pulling, and customer calls as needed.
* Maintain a clean driving record.
Requirements
* Over 1 year of proven customer service and warehouse experience, preferably in distribution or parts counter environments.
* Basic computer skills, accurate data entry, math, mechanical aptitude, and basic reading skills.
* Excellent English grammar, both written and verbal.
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
* Ability to stand for long periods, walk, bend, and lift 100 lbs or more.
* High school diploma or equivalent.

* Knowledge of industrial distribution products.
