Tradewind Recruitment is currently working in partnership with a highly respected Independent Co-educational Prep School located in Radlett, Hertfordshire, to recruit a qualified and enthusiastic PE Teacher for a full-time position starting in September 2025.
This is a superb opportunity for a passionate educator to join a thriving school community for at least 12 months teaching pupils in Years 3 to 8 (KS2 and KS3). The school is known for its commitment to academic rigour, character development, and a dynamic sporting culture.

The Role:
The school is looking for a skilled PE teacher who can deliver engaging lessons across a wide range of sports and inspire pupils to achieve their best in both individual and team settings. You will be expected to:
Teach PE to pupils in KS2 and KS3
Lead and support a variety of sports, with particular emphasis on Football and Hockey in the Autumn Term, Rugby and Netball in Spring, and Cricket in Summer
Play an active role in school fixtures, tournaments, and co-curricular sports activities
Support the physical and emotional development of pupils through inclusive, high-quality teaching
Work collaboratively with staff to promote the school's sporting valuesIdeal Candidate:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in PE or a related field
Brings energy, creativity, and dedication to physical education
Has experience working with children in KS2 and KS3
Demonstrates excellent organisational and communication skills
Enjoys working as part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team
