Job Description
1. Develop a strong understanding of the markets, customers, and products to drive strategic commercial decisions fueling growth
2. Develop and execute a sales strategy that aligns with the company and market opportunities
3. Drive revenue and market share growth within the existing markets and customer base
4. Identify and pursue new end markets, customers, and applications expanding capabilities and geographic expansion within the Americas.
5. Create and sustain an environment and culture that drives accelerated growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction
6. Ensure strategic direction aligns with the overall segment being accountable for the overall performance of the divisional sales revenue and profitability
7. Establish sales budgets, forecast and performance metrics for the group
8. Work closely with the Managing Director and Divisional President on long term business planning and growth
9. Lead, mentor and develop a high performing sales team including Regional Sales Managers, Account Managers, Technical Application Engineers and Inside Sales
10. Develop and maintain strong relationships with top tier customer accounts at the C-level
11. Create strong and long term sustainable customer retention and loyalty programs
12. Work closely with Product Development, R&D, and Operations/Supply Chain on market needs and customer delivery
13. Drive pricing strategies working closely with finance
14. Implement talent development, evaluation, and success planning activities with the HR Leadership team supporting current and future talent needs
15. Develop, maintain, and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, customers, and other strategic partners
16. Drive leadership team in a positive and collaborative approach focusing on a team based culture
17. Think like an owner driving and maintaining a goal oriented, entrepreneurial environment with legacy business and new business
