Contract Draughtsman – SolidWorks - Outside IR35

Role Overview:
An experienced Draughtsman to join our team on a contract basis for a six month initial project. The successful candidate will play a key role in producing detailed engineering drawings and models using SolidWorks for a range of marine and offshore projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create accurate 2D and 3D drawings and models using SolidWorks.
* Interpret engineering specifications and convert them into detailed designs.
* Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure design accuracy and compliance.
* Maintain drawing standards and document control procedures.
* Support design reviews and provide technical input where required.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Draughtsman in a mechanical or marine engineering environment.
* Proficiency in SolidWorks (essential).
* Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes such a fabrication drawings
* Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
