Job Description
We are recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Bootle.
This role offers the chance to work with pupils with additional needs, providing one-to-one or small group support and helping to deliver tailored learning activities. Full training and guidance will be provided, making this ideal for those looking to develop their SEND experience.
We are particularly keen to hear from candidates with backgrounds in care or support work, nursing or healthcare, social work, coaching, or early years settings.
The Role:
1. Support pupils with SEND in their learning and development
2. Work 1:1 or in small groups, assisting with individual targets
3. Help the class teacher deliver tailored activities
4. Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
Requirements:
5. A caring, patient, and proactive attitude
6. Strong communication skills
7. Willingness to undertake training
8. Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
