3 OR cases per day, plus 10 - 15 orthopedic patients daily
Level II trauma group in hospital setting
Focus on fractures and unstable pelvis cases -- no spine procedures
Surgical first assist required for trauma cases
High-volume call with up to 20 consults and multiple admissions
Duties include splinting, fracture reductions, and ER consults
Independent initial assessment with surgeon backup available
