A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a talented Finance Manager to join a well‑established and growing business based in Cheltenham. This role is ideal for an ambitious finance professional looking to step into a position with genuine ownership, visibility, and progression.
About the Role
As Finance Manager, you will take responsibility for the day‑to‑day financial operations and month-end accounts reporting to a Group Financial Controller.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Leading the month‑end process and producing accurate management accounts
2. Managing budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles
3. Providing insightful commentary on performance and variances
4. Supporting the development of processes, controls, and reporting frameworks
5. Business partnering with operational and commercial teams
6. Overseeing cashflow, balance sheet integrity, and key financial KPIs
7. Supervising and developing of one member of staff
This is a broad, hands‑on role offering a great mix of financial control and commercial exposure, would suit a Management Accountant taking a step up or an experienced Finance Manager.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
8. Fully qualified or Finalist (ACCA / CIMA / ACA)
9. Experienced in management accounting, financial control, or finance leadership
10. Strong on analysis, organisation, and improving processes
11. Confident partnering with non‑finance stakeholders
12. Ambitious, proactive, and ready to take ownership of a finance function
