Supply Teacher - Lydney (Bank Staff)
Vision for Education are looking for adaptable and confident Supply Teachers to work across a range of schools in the Lydney area on a flexible bank staff basis, starting immediately or from September. This Supply Teacher role is ideal for a qualified teacher who enjoys variety, wants full control over their availability, and is happy working across different school settings.
As a Supply Teacher, you will step into classrooms to deliver pre-set work, manage behaviour, and maintain a positive learning environment across primary and secondary schools in Lydney and surrounding areas. This Supply Teacher position offers day-to-day flexibility with the option for longer-term placements depending on your availability.
Responsibilities of a Supply Teacher:
1. Deliver pre-planned lessons across different subjects and year groups
2. Maintain classroom behaviour and keep pupils engaged
3. Ensure continuity of learning in the absence of the class teacher
4. Adapt quickly to new school environments as a Supply Teacher
5. Follow school policies and procedures in each placement
Flexible Supply Teacher Work (Bank Basis):
6. Day-to-day and short-term cover
7. Flexible scheduling based on your availability
8. Work across primary, secondary, and specialist settings
9. No long-term commitment required
What we’re looking for in a Supply Teacher:
10. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
11. Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
12. Flexibility and adaptability across different schools
13. Reliable and confident in a Supply Teacher role
14. Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
