We're looking for a nurse qualified Nursing Home Manager, who is commercially minded and clinically credible leader who can inspire teams, maintain compliance, and deliver exceptional outcomes for residents, families, and stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC PIN
- Previous experience managing a nursing home or residential care home for older adults
- Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations and quality standards
- Proven experience working towards and achieving high CQC ratings
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
- Experience managing budgets, occupancy, and overall home performance
- Commercial awareness and business development experience within the private care sector
- Ability to build effective relationships with professionals, families, residents, and external stakeholders

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day management of the nursing home
- Ensure the highest standards of care, safety, and resident wellbeing
- Maintain compliance with CQC regulations and all relevant legislation
- Drive quality improvements and work towards achieving Outstanding standards
- Lead, motivate, and develop nursing, care, and management teams
- Manage occupancy, budgets, and commercial performance
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and commissioners
- Oversee recruitment, retention, and staff development initiatives
- Promote a culture of person-centred care, continuous improvement, and clinical excellence
