We are now seeking a Sales & Operations Manager to play a pivotal role in driving commercial performance and operational excellence across our growing organisation. The Role As our Sales & Operations Manager, you ll oversee and integrate the commercial and operational functions of the business, ensuring the performance of our sales, customer service, technical. Reporting directly to the Business Development Director, you will be responsible for delivering growth, optimising profitability, and building scalable, customer-centric processes that keep Freedom at the forefront of the UK s clean energy future. Key Responsibilities Commercial Strategy & Financial Ownership Full ownership of P&L, EBITDA, and budget performance Lead forecasting and reporting in collaboration with the Finance team Ensure profitability through efficient resource allocation, cost control, and performance management Adjust operational strategies in real-time to meet financial and strategic targets Operations & Delivery Lead all day-to-day business operations across Sales, Logistics, Warehouse. Implement scalable processes to support rapid growth Ensure operational KPIs are met or exceeded Champion operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives Team Leadership & Culture Build, lead, and mentor cross-functional teams (Sales Experts, Warehouse, Logistics. Foster a high-performance, customer-first culture Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of key operational roles Logistics & Fulfilment Oversee logistics and warehousing operations, ensuring efficient product flow and stock management Lead the development of new operational hubs and infrastructure as needed Customer Experience Maintain industry-leading customer satisfaction Ensure that all touchpoints from first enquiry to installation reflect our brand values and technical excellence Who We re Looking For Proven experience in a Sales & Operations or General Management role, ideally in renewable energy, tech-enabled services, or fast-growing consumer businesses Experience in Heat Pumps, HVAC or renewables. Strong commercial acumen with a track record of owning P&L and EBITDA Exceptional leadership and team-building skills across multidisciplinary teams and driving sales performance. Experience in scaling operations from startup or early-stage growth Understanding of Stock control and availability.
