Overview
Ashburton Prescribing Consultants is a leading provider of clinical pharmacist services based in Liverpool. We work closely with GP surgeries and Primary Care Networks (PCNs), delivering a patient-centred, medication-management model that eases the burden on practices and enhances prescribing quality. We handle everything, from prescription signing, medicines reconciliation, and comprehensive medication reviews to running face-to-face and virtual clinics, while also offering bespoke services like chronic disease clinics, quality improvement projects, and clinical audits.
What Sets Us Apart
* Grounded in Clinical Practice: Our educators and leaders are clinicians actively practicing in the field. This ensures our training and support are practical, relevant, and based on real-life prescribing scenarios, not just theory.
* Comprehensive and Flexible Services: From routine prescription handling to fully tailored services like chronic disease clinics and clinical audits, our offerings are designed to meet the specific needs of GP practices.
* Strong Collaborative Culture: We foster a supportive, multidisciplinary environment where pharmacists work together, share insights, and elevate patient care.
* Development-Oriented: We support early-career pharmacists and trainees through foundation training and DPP (Designated Prescribing Practitioner) supervision, empowering them to grow into confident, autonomous prescribers.
