The Role

* Our Data Governance discipline sets the framework for authority, control and shared decision making over the management of data assets.
* Data Governance guides all other data management disciplines to ensure strategy, policy, stewardship and culture support availability, usability, integrity, and security of data throughout its lifecycle
* The Data Governance senior developer will support these ambitions through use of technical solutions to help colleagues across the firm to understand, connect and govern the core data and information relied on to support our business operations, fostering trust and supporting growth.
Your responsibilities:
* Maintain stability of our Master Data Management (MDM) service in BAU as a critical element of the Value Chain integrated landscape and Engagement Management process including remediation of issues in a timely manner using agreed channels (Service Now).
* Proactive performance monitoring and reporting of the MDM service against agreed metrics and identify opportunities to improve the performance of MDM.
* Act as a clear point of contact for business stakeholders for management for master data.
* Design and configure match/merge rules, trust frameworks, and survivorship logic to ensure the highest data quality.
* Develop and configure Business Entity Services using REST/SOAP (Rest preferred) APIs for seamless data integration.
* Support the Group onboarding to MDM and creation of Group Master Customer and Vendor Accounts.
* Support the development effort of Customer 360 to house firm-wide reference data.
* Support the development effort to expand the usage of MDM to master datasets beyond Customer and Vendor as determined by Group and encourage the adoption of master data across the firm.
* Work with the CDAO SMEs across disciplines (architecture, engineering, analytics and governance) to assure alignment on standards and frameworks.
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
* Experience of working with Informatica suite of data governance tools (preferably Informatica Cloud -– IDMC /MDM).
* Knowledge on out of the box transformations available exclusively in Informatica MDM such as Parser, Key generator, Match, Labeler, Standardizer, Address Doctor, in addition to the PowerCenter transformations etc.
* Experience creating profiles/scorecards
* Knowledge on PDO/CDO/LDO,
* Experience in SQL.
* Demonstrable experience of Mmanaginge the deployment of MDM solutions across different environments (Dev, QA and PROD) using CI/CD principles.
* Expertise in Cloud Data Integrations and API integrations with strong knowledge on APIs.
* Appreciation of related data disciplines and concepts such as data profiling, DQ Dimensions, Facts, Data Granularity, Data Cleansing, Metadata Management, Data Lineage, Exception Remediation, SCD’s etc.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills.
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
* Experience of working with other data governance tools available in the market.
* Experience of Cloud data platforms (preferably Microsoft suite – Azure SQL, Databricks, Blob Storage, Databricks and Data factory).
* Knowledge of Data warehousing and Data engineering concepts.
* Familiar with DevOps models and Agile methodologies.
* Experience of leading others in a formal or informal capacity.
* Knowledge and experience of working with ITIL and familiarity with Service Now.
