An exciting opportunity has arisen at United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT), in the Lincolnshire Newborn hearing screening team for a band 4 senior screener. We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and committed screener, who will support the Manager and is able to supervise existing staff and train new staff.
To support Local Manager and the screening team by taking responsibility for the delivery and the day-to-day management of all aspects of the programme
To perform regular data quality checks, including searches on the hearing screening database to ensure that all babies are seen in a timely manner
To manage and monitor hearing screen outpatient clinics.
To maintain screening equipment and ensure QA checks are performed,
To lead the hearing screening team and line manage their activity
To prepare and maintain staff rotas via e-rostering
To participate in the recruitment and selection of staff
To organise and actively participate in the induction programme of new staff and their subsequent training.

Grantham and District Hospital serves the communities of Grantham and the local area. It provides ambulatory paediatric and accident and emergency services.
Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) have come together in a Group arrangement, with the goal of improving the care provided to patients across the county.
This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organisations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire. Both Trusts will retain their separate statutory names and legal obligations.
The Group will be known as Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG).
