Role: Contracts Manager \nLocation: South West England\nSector: Timber Frame Construction \nSalary: TBC\n\nAre you an experienced leader within the timber frame sector? \nWould you enjoy working for the UK market leader in timber structures? \n\nA leading manufacturer within the Timber Frame market is currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager to oversee Timber Frame installations across the South West region.
The successful candidate can expect to cover and take full account of live projects within their region to ensure successful delivery to the client. It will be a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their career by joining a leading timber frame building and manufacturing company where you will be running large housing contracts. \n\nThe Contracts Manager will be working closely with the design & technical departments and is responsible for ensuring that profits on site are maximised through the effective management of all aspects of work carried out on site utilising all available financial information to assist.
\n\nThe Role: \n\nReport progress against plan, pre and post handover, mitigation of risk and a general overview of the project and your areas of responsibility to the construction manager\nBuild and sustain a strong culture and relationship with your team and subcontractors\nAttend internal project meetings and work closely with with relevant teams to address and resolve any issues\nTake account and develop build programme including RAMS, Resource plans and HaulageAbout you: \n\nHold valid CSCS and SMSTS\nPrevious residential site management experience for either a developer / main contractor\nHaving the ability to prepare and present good quality management information using Microsoft office\nDemonstrate ability to recruit, lead and develop a teamThis employer is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
