Unqualified Teaching Assistant – Primary Schools

Milk Education are working in partnership with a number of primary schools in Washington who are seeking Unqualified Teaching Assistants to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in education, including graduates, career-changers, or those with experience working with children in other settings.
The Role
As an Unqualified Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups
Assist the class teacher with daily classroom activities
Help create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
Support pupils with varying learning needs
Encourage confidence, independence and positive behaviour
Work across different year groups as required
The Ideal Candidate
A genuine interest in working with children
Experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
Positive, patient and enthusiastic attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to learn and take direction
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
