Childrens Residential Support WorkerWe are looking for caring, resilientand motivated individuals to join our clientsupporting children and young people within a residential setting. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in young peoples lives by providing emotional support, encouragement, and stability.Shift PatternsDay Shifts: 7:00am 11:00pmNight Shifts: 9:30pm 9:30amSleep-ins X1 every week requiredThe company also manage a school which is located close to the residential homeand all children attend the school. The school caters for both primary and secondary aged children between 818 years old.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild positive relationships with children and young peopleMaintain a high level of resilience and professionalismSupport young people to experience emotional security, happiness and personal growthParticipate in planning and engaging young people in recreational and social activitiesAct as a positive role model and provide consistent supportComplete daily reports and documentation accuratelyAttend and contribute to staff meetingsWaking Night StaffWe are also recruiting Waking Night Staff to provide overnight support and ensure the safety and wellbeing of young people throughout the night.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide a clear handover to day staffEnsure the safety and wellbeing of young people overnightCarry out cleaning duties while young people are asleepDocument and track the progress and development of young people in your careSupport calm and positive bedtime routinesFollow individual health plans, including support strategies for young people with enuresis where requiredConduct regular walkthrough checks of the home throughout the nightRequirementsA willingness to complete the Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young Peoples WorkforceFull UK driving licence (applicants will be asked about any points on their licence)Ability to work flexible hours, including long days, weekendsand sleep-in duties where requiredMinimum 6 months experience in residential care or working with childrenApplicants must be 21 years old or overClear enhanced DBS or willing to obtain oneWhat Were Looking ForWe are seeking individuals who are:Compassionate and patientReliable and committedStrong communicatorsAble to remain calm under pressurePassionate about supporting children and young people to achieve positive outcomesTo apply, please send your CVoutlining your experience and suitability for the role.Please note we cannot take anyone under sponsorshipTPBN1_UKTJ
