Job Title: LV Specification Sales Engineer

Role Overview
We are looking for a technically strong and commercially focused LV Specification Sales Engineer. You will connect engineering solutions with clients such as consultants, contractors, and end-users. Your goal is to win new projects, influence specifications early, and secure orders for custom LV switchboards and motor control centres (MCCs).
Key Responsibilities
* Specification Influence: Work with M&E consultants to ensure products are specified as preferred solutions.
* Business Development: Identify and track projects across sectors such as data centres, healthcare, and transport.
* Technical Support: Deliver site surveys and presentations explaining technical solutions and BEMS integration.
* Tender Management: Support internal teams to prepare accurate and competitive proposals.
* Client Relationships: Build and manage relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors using CRM tools.
* Market Awareness: Keep up to date with competitors and UK standards (BS EN 61439).
Candidate Requirements
* Electrical engineering qualification (HNC/HND or Degree preferred).
* Strong knowledge of LV switchgear and control systems.
* Experience in technical sales or business development in the UK electrical sector.
* Clear communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Self-motivated and able to manage own schedule.
* Experience with CRM and Microsoft Office; CAD/BIM knowledge is an advantage.
