We are seeking a creative and passionate Junior/Midweight Visual Communication Designer to join our User Experience team. This role focuses on user-centered design for healthcare products, primarily packaging, instructional materials, and labeling, with opportunities to further contribute to physical and digital products.
Our Team
The design team is part of a global function that is leveraged to support our global innovation and development (R&D) sites in China, Denmark, India, UK and USA on projects from Discovery to Delivery. We work alongside capabilities from Mechanical Engineering to Manufacturing, Software to Regulatory, Quality to Marketing, Human Factors to Legal.
You will have the opportunity to work on regulated healthcare products alongside fellow designers who specialise in digital UX design, packaging, labelling and IFU design, Industrial design and research & strategy.
Candidates should be prepared to bring energy to the design team and a desire to start or continue their professional growth in user centric product development.

What You Will Do
1. Support projects from discovery through production, focusing on the design and user experience of packaging, Instructions for Use (IFU), Quick Reference Guides (QRGs), and labeling.
2. Support complex, system-level projects involving packaging, instructional materials, physical product and digital user interfaces.
3. Collaborate with senior designers and multidisciplinary teams across global sites (North America, Europe, Asia).
4. Utilize design thinking to create clear, compelling communication that enhances user experience and product safety.
5. Thrive in dynamic, regulated healthcare environments, solving complex design challenges and seeing them through to delivery.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
6. Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication Design or related field.
7. Up to 4 years of experience in graphic and communication design.
8. Strong conceptual and artworking skills with expertise in:
9. Branding, typography, editorial design
10. Print design including color, materials, finishes, and print specifications
11. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
12. Experience with collaboration tools (Microsoft Teams, Mural, Miro).
13. Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication/storytelling skills.
14. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
What Will Put You Ahead
15. Experience in healthcare product design.
16. Ability to create animated infographics and video production skills.
17. Familiarity with AI implications in visual communication.
18. Knowledge of multi-language packaging/labeling systems.
19. Exposure to digital UX/UI tools: Figma, Adobe XD, Protopie.
Portfolio Requirement Candidates must submit a mini portfolio demonstrating:
