Embark Consulting is growing provider of Health & Safety consultancy services and advice to businesses throughout the UK and Europe and due to continued growth we are now looking for a Health and Safety Consultant to join our team.
The position will be located the South East, with hybrid working, visiting client sites throughout the London and South East regions.
Your role will be to support our clients by providing expert and proactive advice to their business and projects, partnering with them to establish a strong culture of safety.
We go beyond audits and inspections, we provide our clients with an end-to-end tailored service, so you become their health and safety partner and consultant of choice.
The work is varied, from audits, inspections, developing procedures, policies and management systems.
The successful Health and Safety Consultant will be required to:-
* Provide advice and guidance to clients on their legal and regulatory duties
* Carry out site inspections and site audits
* Developing clear and concise action plans and recommendations
* Liaising with client management and employees
* Delivery of ad-hoc training
* Carrying out hazard identification and risk assessments on sites
* DSE Assessments, COSHH Assessments
* Reviewing company documentation
To be considered for this role, you will need the following qualifications, experience and attributes:
* Hold a recognised Health and Safety qualification at certificate level (NCRQ, NEBOSH, NVQ)
* Have demonstrable experience and understanding of Health and Safety legislation
* Experience of Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Safe Systems of Work.
* Able to carry out audits, inspections and assessments.
* A professional and consultative approach to your work, with the ability to be flexible to suit our clients changing needs.
