Purpose of the position To carry out maintenance, modifications, and repairs to aircraft systems in accordance with work card instructions and relevant controlled technical documentation. Actively support, promote, and contribute to continuous improvement ideas and activity to ensure that progressive gains in efficiency are maintained. Accountability Accountable for the safe and compliant completion of maintenance and modifications on aircraft under the supervision of a Technician or Team Leader. Responsibilities: Carry out maintenance tasks on aircraft modifications, repairs, systems, system functions and maintenance tasks across scope of trade. Comply with HSE and airworthiness regulations and requirements. Work in accordance with company procedures to ensure compliance with requirements associated with the role, eg, tool control, document control, system updates and certification. Booking and accounting for time Working to and maintaining a high standard of workmanship Capability: Approved aeronautical apprenticeship (Electrical/Avionic) or equivalent (level 3). Additional qualification where mandated (e.g. EASA B2 licence). Successful completion of aircraft type course, part 147 or equivalent (ATA 104 level 3). Experienced post trade qualification in an aircraft maintenance environment and within trade scope. Detail orientated. Able to work well in a team. High levels of integrity. Good problem-solving skills. Must have an eye for continuous improvement. Technical Competencies: Comfortable working with aircraft technical data, maintenance manuals and drawings Able to understand and interpret manufacturer instructions to repair, replace systems, system functions.
