The Role Scope
This role will lead the delivery of various project types, initially focusing on MandM’s digital transformation projects using a hybrid of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, involving both in-house and third-party software development teams.
Role key responsibilities:
* Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
* Develop detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and manage resources
* Lead cross-functional teams to execute projects aligning with objectives
* Work with Delivery Managers to ensure efficient and productive Scrum team delivery
* Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
* Prepare and present progress reports, project briefs, and updates to stakeholders
* Manage relationships with key stakeholders to ensure satisfaction
* Coordinate with external vendors or contractors as needed
* Conduct post-project evaluations and develop recommendations for future projects
* Support the implementation of best practices, tools, and methodologies to improve project outcomes
About You
Skill / Competency
* Project management certifications, ideally in Waterfall and Agile
* Significant experience managing digital transformation projects
* Proven experience leading complex projects with cross-functional teams
* Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
* Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, JIRA, Google Workspace)
* Experience working with third-party suppliers and in-house software teams
