SEN English Teacher (Key Stage 3 & 4) - West London, Chiswick - September Start

Salary: MPS/UPS or 140 - 160 per day (for supply)

A specialist SEN school in Chiswick, West London is seeking a dedicated and experienced English Teacher to teach Key Stage 3 and 4 students with special educational needs. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about making English accessible and engaging for all learners.
English Teacher Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver differentiated English lessons for Key Stage 3 and 4 students
* Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of students with SEND, including autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties
* Create an inclusive and engaging classroom environment that supports literacy development
* Assess student progress and provide tailored support to help them achieve their full potential
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and other professionals to support student learning
* Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
English Teacher Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and 4, ideally within an SEN setting
* Strong behaviour management skills and a flexible, patient approach
* Ability to create accessible and engaging learning experiences
* A commitment to inclusion and high expectations for all students
