The person holding this position will report to the Finance Business Partner and be a member of the Finance team.
The core responsibility of the Finance Analyst is to support the finance functions for General Managers across local regions and functional leaders. The role involves creating and interpreting insightful reports from business information and core systems to guide business and investment decisions, evaluate financial performance, and provide recommendations to improve profitability and streamline processes for better decision-making across functions.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Month-end report build and delivery for sales and opex P&L reports.
2. Providing insightful commentary to budget holders and cross-functional teams under tight deadlines.
3. Standardising investment schedule updates for ROC.
4. Daily sales reconciliation and reporting by Regional Operating Company (ROC).
5. Monthly and ad-hoc expense reporting.
6. Price Volume Analysis reports summarising key trends and variances to budget, requiring management action.
7. Gross to Net Margin Reports with variance analysis.
8. FTE analysis and report queries to investigate variances.
9. S&D Trackers & KPI reporting.
10. Supporting inventory analysis and identifying potential issues with aged inventory.
11. Supporting provisions management.
12. Cost Centre setup and report integration.
13. Supporting the Operational Accounting team with audit queries.
14. PLANFUL report setup and data collection for forecasts, budgets, and 5-year plans.
15. Ad-hoc analysis and query resolution as needed.
Qualifications and experience required:
* Part-qualified or qualified accountant with a finance background and experience in a fast-paced multinational environment.
* Experience in providing management information to senior executives.
* Strong analytical skills with proficiency in IT systems (E1, PLANFUL, ReportsNow, BI, Excel).
* Experience in month-end reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
* Knowledge of accounting and compliance rules.
* Continuous improvement mindset to identify and implement process enhancements.
