Maintenance Engineer (Canning)
Reporting to - Engineering Manager
Salary: Negotiable (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday – Thursday (flexibility may be needed)

Main Purpose:
The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining, operating, and improving the canning line to ensure optimal performance, product
quality, and safety, whilst also providing support to the bottling lines. This role is vital in supporting high-volume beverage production and ensuring equipment uptime and efficiency.
Duties:
1. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot high-speed canning and bottling lines including filling, seaming, and packaging equipment.
2. Monitor line performance (OEE) and lead efforts to reduce downtime and improve productivity.
3. Perform routine maintenance, corrective repairs, and equipment changeovers to meet production schedules.
4. Ensure all equipment operates within food safety and quality standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
5. Work with Quality Assurance to ensure can integrity, fill levels, carbonation, and labelling meet specifications.
