GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Primary Teacher to join schools across Nottingham. About the Role As a SEND Primary Teacher, you will plan, deliver, and adapt lessons to meet the individual needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. You will create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that encourages learning, independence, and confidence. You will work closely with teaching assistants and staff to ensure each child receives personalised guidance and support. SEND Primary Teacher ’s Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of SEND pupils. Support children’s academic, social, and emotional development. Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff to provide targeted support. Assess, monitor, and report on pupils’ progress. Foster independence, confidence, and a love of learning in all pupils. Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification. Experience teaching children with SEND in a primary school setting. Strong understanding of SEND strategies, differentiation, and inclusion. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
