Are you a passionate and driven Mechatronics Maintenance Engineer ready to take your career to the next level? Manpower engineering is proud to be working in partnership with a prestigious global manufacturing company with a strong presence in Birstall, seeking an exceptional engineer to join their expanding team.
Shift pattern: Double days; 6.00-14.00 13.45-21.45, Monday to Friday.

The Role: As a Mechatronics Engineer, you will play a key role in driving automation, improving production systems, and supporting the integration of mechanical, electrical, and software solutions. You'll work alongside a highly skilled team to ensure optimal performance and reliability of new and existing equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Troubleshoot and optimise mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
* Support the installation and commissioning of new machinery.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver engineering improvements.
* Contribute to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Requirements:
* Recognised electrical/mechanical apprenticeship.
* Experience in both reactive and preventative maintenance.
* Knowledge and experience of working with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
* PLC knowledge would be advantageous.
