We are seeking experienced Ophthalmology Consultants to support our busy Glaucoma Outpatient Clinics in Naunton. This ongoing weekend opportunity is ideal for consultants who are committed to delivering high-quality glaucoma care within a well-structured clinical environment.
As an Ophthalmology Consultant in our glaucoma service, you will:
* Conduct comprehensive glaucoma assessments
* Review approximately 30 patients per clinic day
* Provide clinical decision making, treatment planning, and follow-up care
* Work collaboratively with nursing, imaging, and diagnostic teams
* Ensure high standards of patient safety, documentation, and clinical governance
To be considered, candidates must:
* Be on the GMC Specialist Register in Ophthalmology
* Have NHS experience
* Have strong clinical expertise in glaucoma diagnosis and management
* Demonstrate excellent communication and patient focused care
