Business Development Manager About The Role We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team at Dals. This role reports to our Head of Client Accounts and plays a key part in securing new business opportunities and contributing to the company's growth. You will be responsible for building relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions that align with the organisation's service offerings and strategic objectives. Main Duties & Responsibilities • Identify and engage with key decision-makers across target markets using various outreach methods. • Provide accurate monthly and quarterly sales forecasts to the Head of Sales. • Represent the company at exhibitions, industry events, and client meetings. • Conduct market research and gather competitive intelligence to inform business strategy. • Develop a thorough understanding of the company’s products and services. • Negotiate pricing and contract terms to ensure profitability and client satisfaction. • Prepare persuasive proposals, quotes, and presentations for prospective clients. • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. • Perform other duties as required. About You We’re looking for someone with: • Proven experience in business development or sales, with a track record of success. • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. • Experience in market mapping and strategic targeting. • Analytical and problem-solving mindset. • Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities. • Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems. • Experience in the interpreting and translation industry is desirable but not essential.
