What Your Day:to:Day Will Look Like

Provide tailored, one:on:one support for pupils with diverse needs, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, global development delay, or speech and language difficulties.
*
Implement structured individual education plans (IEPs) and adapt learning resources to make the curriculum accessible and engaging.
*
Use positive behavior management and de:escalation strategies to create a safe, reassuring classroom environment.
*
Assist with emotional and sensory regulation, helping pupils navigate their school day calmly and confidently.
*
Collaborate closely with class teachers, Special Educational Needs Coordinators (SENCOs), and parents to track and report on student progress.
Key Requirements
*
A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (or significant, verifiable experience working with SEN pupils).
*
Direct experience supporting children with additional needs within an educational or care setting.
*
A patient, resilient, and deeply nurturing approach to behavior and learning support.
*
Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt quickly to established school routines.
*
An Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service (essential to ensure an immediate start).
