Where will you be working?
At M Group Energy, we’re enabling the energy essential to support our lives. We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation. This role will be within our Metering team, you’ll join the leading provider of metering services in the UK energy retail sector, providing efficient and flexible services for gas, electricity and water meters. What will you be doing?
As an engineer, you will form part of our Metering team that provides a wide range of services from smart installations, investigating non-communicating smart meters, and emergency and maintenance appointments on behalf of EON, OVO, EDF and our expanding client portfolio. You’ll work on your own, talk to customers and meet new people. Customer service is our top priority. You’ll ensure all jobs are completed on time and our customers are provided with in-depth explanations of the benefits and safe usage of their new meter. You’ll also respond to emergencies, restoring power or gas when customers need it the most. You’ll receive continuous training to maintain and develop your skills. Onboarding will prepare you to be an ambassador for health and safety. You’ll have weekly meetings and a supportive team, and no day is the same with opportunities to shine.
What you’ll bring
• Valid UK driving licence (must have held licence for 1 year and have 6 points or fewer)
• CCN1 / CMA1 / CMA3, or NVQ Level 2 in Smart Metering Dual Fuel; experience installing gas and electric smart meters
• MOCOPA experience
