Health and Safety Manager Full Time, 37 hours Salary: £34,947 per annum Burton on Trent, Town Centre Campus Who are we looking for? Burton & South Derbyshire College is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to play a pivotal role managing health and safety across the college estate. The Health and Safety Manager will be instrumental in overseeing a robust health and safety management system and promoting safe working practices. They will develop and maintain health and safety standards, provide advice and guidance regarding compliance with relevant statutory requirements, legislation and regulations, and promote best practice in accordance with sector and professional standards. Working with the Head of Facilities, the Health and Safety Manager will lead the development and review of Health & Safety Policies, performing health and safety audits, supporting investigations, managing risk assessments, leading on the college’s Health and Safety committee, designing and delivering effective health and safety related training, and preparing and presenting health and safety reports.
