About the Role
As the school's new Year 1 Teacher, you'll be:
* Delivering engaging and creative lessons aligned with Year 1 curriculum goals
* Teaching high‑quality phonics, early reading and early maths
* Using play‑based and structured learning to build confidence and independence
* Creating a nurturing, consistent classroom environment
* Working closely with the KS1 team to plan, assess and differentiate
* Building strong relationships with pupils, staff and families
* Contributing to a positive, upbeat school community

Who We're Looking For
You'll be a great fit if you are:
* A qualified Primary Teacher (QTS)
* Confident and experienced in KS1
* Strong in phonics and early literacy teaching
* Warm, nurturing and energetic
* Able to build trust and relationships quickly
* Creative, organised and passionate about child development
* A real team‑player who enjoys shared planning and collaboration
