Job Description

As a Business Analyst, you will understand and analyse user and business needs, ensuring outcomes align with our service vision and business strategy. You will contribute to linking current and future business models and support the delivery of our business architecture. You shall challenge constructively and act as a critical friend to develop fit-for-purpose solutions. Collaboration and effective communication with all stakeholders are essential to support design, build, and delivery, working with project teams, technical teams, and stakeholders at all levels.
The team
The Business Analysis Service primarily supports the Chief Regulator Group, leading and supporting various critical change and improvement initiatives. Our mission is to empower colleagues through insightful analysis, enabling informed decisions that help create better places for people and wildlife and promote sustainable development.

Experience/Skills Required
* Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex data and processes to identify issues and opportunities for informed decision-making.
* Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to effectively convey findings and recommendations.
* Stakeholder Management: Experience managing relationships with project teams, colleagues, and senior management for successful collaboration.
* Project Delivery: Experience delivering projects within a structured framework, ensuring timely and successful completion.
* Requirements Gathering: Proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements to meet project objectives.
Desirable Experience/Qualifications
* Experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
* Relevant business analysis qualifications.
* Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
* Experience working with internal and external stakeholders.
* Familiarity with the Project Delivery Capability Framework.
Contact and Additional Information
There are three roles available: two permanent and one fixed-term contract until 30th April 2027. We support inclusive development plans and provide appropriate training. The location is flexible/hybrid, with an EA Office base. Some travel and overnight stays may be required.
