The team…
The Development Team supports key business applications across Customer Experience and Digital Services including Council Tax, Business Rates and Social Care Finance. The team is responsible for managing, co-ordinating and developing key IT systems across the service including procurement and training and facilitating the implementation, development and support, of these systems to help improve service delivery.
About the role….
We are looking for a Systems Development Officer to join a team supporting the Development Manager in the management and development of systems and applications across Customer Experience and Digital services.
Reporting to the Development Manager, the successful candidate will be in a team working closely with colleagues across the Council to support in the development and maintenance of all relevant systems to meet current and future service needs and provide the best support for system users.
We have recently invested in a new council wide telephony system (8x8) and are continually investing in all our systems so this post will contribute to that investment to support building a culture of innovation, change and improve our service and performance. This role will work on a variety of business-critical systems and will concentrate on the development and performance of telephony systems.
