Job Summary
As a Lecturer, you will teach effectively on a range of courses and at a range of levels as agreed with your line manager. You will support learners to achieve successful outcomes and participate in retention and recruitment activities as appropriate. You will set high expectations for learners and contribute to an environment that encourages all learners to be aspirational.

Qualifications and Requirements
* Experience of teaching and assessing across a range of awarding bodies.
* Specialist in Computer Science (Programming).
* Indicate your preferred language for all correspondence and interview arrangements (Welsh or English).
* All staff employed at Coleg y Cymoedd have a responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of learners.
* All new starters must successfully complete the required preemployment checks prior to commencing employment. This includes an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
* For roles that involve direct interaction with learners, registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) is also a mandatory requirement.
Work Environment and Flexibility
Roles at Coleg y Cymoedd are campus-based to support teaching, learner experience and service delivery. Postholders may request flexible working, including limited remote working, through the College's Flexible Working Process (a statutory right). Requests are considered individually based on role needs and service coverage. Candidates or employees with accessibility or reasonable adjustment needs are encouraged to discuss these with the People & Culture team.
