Job Title: Third Party Personal Injury Handler

Location: Either Sevenoaks or Liverpool with hybrid working / Also the opportunity to work remote is available

Salary: Between £27,500 and £34,800 DOE plus £2000 annual bonus potential achieved quarterly

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

Working hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm, 37.5 hours per week

What you will be doing:

As a Sub-Handler, you are responsible for managing the personal injury journey through the Official Injury Claim (OIC) portal via the LEX system.

Your role includes:

Manage ONLY the LEX file and the PI related Tasks
Focus ONLY on the Schedules created by LEX and respond to each step in the process (SCNF Review, Acceptance or Rejection of the claim, Liability Challenges, Stage 2 offers, Counter Offers, Court Proceedings Packs, Acceptances and NVC packs)
Develop Specialist Knowledge of the OIC and its processes
Collaborate and build relationships with other areas of the business as they are going to be the ones that will be guiding you on the progression of the claim.Core Responsibilities:

Reviewing and responding to the SCNF
Medical Evidence Review
Making Offers
Counter Offers
Liability Challenges
Court Proceedings
NVC Packs
Interim Payment Request
Acceptances
Counter FeesDuring your time in the Academy, you will also see other PI workflows including MOJ and Non Portal for you to gain an overall understanding of how the PI Industry works and how this is dealt in house. The Academy is designed for you to build up PI knowledge step by step, with experts around you to help you grow and develop.
