Key day-to-day responsibilities include: Operating and maintaining production machinery to manufacture quality products Supporting efficient changeovers and material coordination to maximise output Safeguarding food safety and product quality at every stage Following defined procedures and working to GMP, HACCP, ISO, allergen and food safety standards Maintaining a clean, tidy and hygienic work area - supporting 'clean as you go' principles Monitoring and minimising waste across floor waste, ingredients, energy, time and people Communicating issues promptly to the Line Leader and contributing to improvement plans Escalating serious concerns to the Line Leader when required Assisting with internal and external compliance audits including QMS, Environmental and Health & Safety checks Demonstrating effective teamwork and leading by example to achieve the team's collective goals What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will bring: Previous experience in a food manufacturing or FMCG production environment A strong understanding of food safety principles (HACCP, GMP, allergen awareness) A positive, proactive attitude and genuine commitment to team performance Good communication skills - able to flag issues clearly and constructively A consistent, reliable approach to quality, safety and hygiene standards The ability to work at pace while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail Standards & Compliance This role requires full adherence to all relevant internal and external standards. These include GMP, ISO, HACCP, allergen controls, environmental checks, food safety audits, QMS and Health & Safety legislation. You will work alongside the management team to ensure the business consistently produces safe, legal and quality products within agreed budgetary targets. Ready to Apply?
