About the Role
As a Care Home Manager, you will lead, motivate and mentor your team, providing clinical guidance and training to ensure safe, efficient care. You will carry out assessments, develop and evaluate individualised care plans, monitor work areas, and promote residents’ independence, choice, dignity and respect.
Key responsibilities include:
* Lead the provision through effective leadership and home management.
* Champion resident wellbeing and establish a vision and development plan for the home.
* Carry out quality assurance monitoring to exceed regulatory standards.
* Ensure all staff receive appropriate safeguarding training and can recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect.
What We’re Looking For
Applicants should have:
* A Registered Managers Award Level 4, or Leadership and Management in Care Level 4/5, or a willingness to study for one.
* Leadership experience with multidisciplinary teams and conducting risk assessments.
* Strong communication skills, always considerate and kind when interacting with residents and colleagues.
* Commitment to safeguarding and the ability to report concerns and seek advice.
