Chef de Partie – The Duke of Cambridge, Tilford

Are you a passionate and ambitious chef looking to take the next step in your career? The award-winning Duke of Cambridge in Tilford is looking for a talented Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team.

Nestled in the heart of Tilford, The Duke of Cambridge is a thriving Gastro Pub known for its fresh, locally sourced ingredients, innovative menus, and outstanding customer experience. We take pride in delivering high-quality, seasonal dishes in a fast-paced but friendly environment.

The Role

As a Chef de Partie, you will be a key player in our kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation, presentation, and service. You'll work alongside an experienced team, receive excellent training, and have opportunities for career growth.

Key Responsibilities

* Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to a high standard
* Running a designated section of the kitchen efficiently and with precision
* Assisting with menu development and contributing creative ideas
* Maintaining strict food hygiene and safety standards at all times
* Ensuring consistency and quality in every dish served
* Supporting junior team members and helping to train apprentices
* Managing stock levels and ensuring minimal wastage
* Working collaboratively with the Head Chef and wider team to ensure smooth kitchen operations

What We're Looking For

* A hardworking, reliable, and passionate chef who thrives in a busy environment
* At least 1 year of experience in a similar role within a high-quality kitchen
* A strong understanding of fresh, seasonal ingredients and classic cooking techniques
* A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and develop
* The ability to work well under pressure while maintaining high standards
* A team player who can communicate effectively with colleagues
* A Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (preferred but not essential)
