The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution according to procedures and meeting contractual KPIs. The role involves working in a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.
What you’ll do:
* Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
* Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
* Action Service Requests.
* Allocate/despatch tickets to support groups and service providers.
* Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
* Coordinate traffic management with relevant teams and providers.
* Communicate with customers about network incidents.
* Coordinate with utility companies during power-related network issues.
Who you are:
Previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, ideally within a NOC environment.
Key Requirements:
* Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
* Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with all levels of seniority.
* Good understanding of Microsoft Office packages.
