Our client, a Warwickshire-based organisation, is seeking an experienced Interim Finance Manager to support the finance function during a period of change. This is a hands-on, on-site role requiring someone who can quickly take ownership of day-to-day financial operations while partnering closely with senior stakeholders. This assignment is initially for 3 months, however there is a clear opportunity for the role to become permanent for the right individual. Key Responsibilities: Managing the day-to-day running of the finance function Leading the month-end process, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations Producing accurate and timely management accounts Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management Ensuring robust financial controls and compliance with statutory requirements Acting as a key finance business partner to non-finance stakeholders Managing and developing junior members of the finance team Liaising with external auditors and advisors Identifying and implementing process improvements Candidate Requirements: Proven experience in a Finance Manager or similar role Strong technical accounting background with a hands-on approach Comfortable working in a fast-paced or transitional environment Experience producing management accounts end-to-end Strong Excel skills and exposure to finance systems/ERPs Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Able to commit to 5 days per week on-site in Warwickshire Immediately available or on short notice Qualifications: ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified, or qualified by experience What's on Offer: Competitive interim rate or salary (dependent on experience) Opportunity to add immediate value in a key role Strong likelihood of permanent conversion Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
