We are recruiting an FP&A Analyst to join our UK&I Finance Team based out of our Whitley (DN14 0HR) location. Flexible hybrid working is available.

What will you be doing in this role?
The FP&A Analyst supports the UK&I organisation by delivering high-quality financial analysis, robust modelling, and consolidated reporting to enable informed decision-making. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance UKI, the role plays a critical part in ensuring accuracy, consistency, and insight across all financial reporting and planning processes.
The Ideal candidate:
We are looking for someone with experience in developing, enhancing, and maintaining financial models; ensuring aligned and consistent reporting across multiple propositions; and supporting budgeting/forecasting.
Key skills and experience:
•Experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or commercial finance.
•Advanced Excel and modelling skills (lookup functions, Power Query, complex formulas, scenario modelling, financial logic).
•Experience building and maintaining robust, scalable financial models.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
•Ability to consolidate large datasets and present them clearly and effectively.
•Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and planning processes.
•Experience with BI tools or financial reporting systems advantageous.
•Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
•Highly organised, able to prioritise and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
•Proactive, curious, and able to challenge data and assumptions where appropriate.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
•Financial Modelling: Build, maintain, and improve advanced financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, scenario analysis, and long-range planning.
•Reporting Consolidation: Consolidate financial performance across multiple propositions into a single, accurate, UK&I reporting suite.
•Group Reporting: Submission of accurate Group Reporting consistently on time.
•Reporting Consistency: Ensure reporting standards, definitions, and KPIs are consistent across all business units and propositions.
•Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the UK&I budgeting, forecasting, and planning cycles, ensuring high-quality inputs, robust assumptions, and timely delivery.
•Performance Reporting: Produce accurate monthly reporting packs, dashboards, and variance analysis, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.
•KPI Tracking: Monitor KPIs across propositions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and providing insight into performance drivers.
•Stakeholder Support: Work with Commercial, Sales, Marketing, Operational, and Finance teams to gather data, validate assumptions, and provide analytical support.
